School Council

Our School Council is a group of students from Year 1 up to Year 6 who represent the children in school enabling them to have a say about what goes on in our school and helps to shape the school for the better. They can share ideas, discuss current issues, address concerns and raise awareness about many matters.

It gives our children a real voice and helps them to develop responsible attitudes, improve behaviour and instill a feeling of belonging, it also helps teach children respect for others and gives them an insight into democracy and constructive debate. The School Council enables teachers to see things from a child’s point of view and adapt what they do in light of this where appropriate. Our School Council is supported and managed by Mrs Clennell.

Members of our current School Council (2022 – 2023)

Ada, Lottie, Hannah, Isabelle, Rose, Milo, Sophia, Alfie, Jack, Charlotte, Jamie, Isabelle and Patrick.
